Top management Porsche has officially approved plans on a batch production of a roadster 918 Spyder which will receive a hybrid power-plant. Such decision was accepted after huge number of positive responses about the model which premiere has passed in March of this year on a motor show in Geneva. In the middle of August the demands acceptance on the car will be already opened, and buyers even will have an opportunity to bring an advance payment (thus definitive cost 918 Spyder yet is not informed).
Shown in Geneva concept had at once three engines. Petrol V8 at volume 3,4 l (500 h.p.) worked together with two electromotors which gave out 218 more h.p. As a result easy 918 Spyder can be dispersed from a place to 100 km/h of all for 3,2 sec, and the maximum speed makes 320 km/h. Amazes also fuel consumption – only 3 l on each 100 km of a way! And if the driver should not hasten anywhere it and at all can not spend fuel – 20 km Porsche 918 Spyder can pass only on one electropull-rod.
