In interior innovations more less – a new wheel and slightly changed materials of furnish. But under a cowl instead of the 6,2-litre power unit 5,5-litre a bi-turbo eight capacity of 544 h.p. (800 Nm) with seven-step "robot" SpeedShift MCT is aggregated. On assurances of engineers Daimler AG application of this engine has allowed to lower fuel consumption in comparison with the previous motor approximately on 20 %, and blowout of harmful substances at all on 30 %. So in the commixed cycle fuel consumption makes 10,5 l on hundred kilometres of run, and blowout СО2 does not exceed 244/km. By itself, the new engine corresponds to norms of Euro-5. Thus dynamic characteristics have considerably improved. Dispersal to first hundred occupies 4,5 sec, and the maximum speed is limited by electronic "collar" on a mark of 250 km/h. But it's all about the base version. Who loves more hot, for 9 400 euros is offered package AMG Performance at which capacity of the motor will increase to 570 h.p. (900 Nm), and first hundred conquest will occupy 4,4 sec. Thus the maximum speed makes 300 km/h.
Version Mercedes CL65 AMG is still equipped 12-cylinders, 6-litre bi-turbo motor which capacity has been increased by 18 h.p. and now reaches 630 h.p. The Diesel twisting moment has not changed and makes impressing 1000 «Nm». Despite bonus 18 h.p. dispersal to first hundred remained at level 4,4 sec, and at achievement of 250 km/h are worked out by the electronic arrester. With the engine which corresponds to norms of Euro-4, in steam five-step "automatic machine" works.
